After struggling with anxiety and depression, auto-immune and skin issues, plus lack of energy and motivation (not to mention almost losing my gallbladder!), I knew I needed a change. Life is not supposed to be this way. It's supposed to be fun! 
I was tired of being tired and frustrated with being frustrated. I started a journey to re-evaluate what I was putting both in and on my body as well as what I was allowing in my mind. It was a challenge: after all, with a family of six, I needed simple, effective, and inexpensive strategies.
After copious amounts of research, reading, training, and classes, I became educated on how real food and real lifestyle changes can impact a life. I gained traction in combating my own struggles and began to overcome the obstacles that were holding me back, all using functional nutrition and mindset strategies.
Now I'm a certified trainer through WOMANSPEAK and also a Health and Lifestyle Coach. And the founder of Livin' Healthy and Free.
Livin' Healthy and Free isn't a just a company: It's an opportunity. It's how I pursue my passion, which is helping others to become their happier, healthier selves who can pursue their passions. Livin' Healthy and Free is a way to simply and effectively nourish your whole self, which in turn gives you energy and freedom to do the things you want to do—that you were meant to do.

  • Will starting a meal plan mean I can't have my favorites?

    Food isn't just for surviving―it's for enjoying! I want to help you discover new alternatives and new favorites so the goal is not to put you on a super restrictive diet. Though donuts and soda will probably have to go, you won't have to completely abandon what you love.
  • Can I adapt a healthy lifestyle to the way I'm living now?

    Eating healthy and starting a new way of life can be a challenge, but we'll work together on the optimal solution for you. Busy parents? We'll plan some delicious kid-friendly meals. If you're vegan or have dietary concerns - we'll select meals and supplement choices that you'll love.
  • Will eating healthy mean I have to eat anything... weird?

    I will most likely introduce you to new foods, but not like crazy weird ones, like ones you would have to travel to a rainforest to get. Livin' Healthy and Free is about making lifestyle changes that are reasonable and sustainable! It is my passion and heart to share these strategies with you.
